The short version
If you send me an inquiry or fill out the project questionnaire, I use what you tell me to review your project and reply to you. That's all. I don't sell it, share it for advertising or add you to a mailing list.
What I collect
From the forms, only what you type into them:
- Your name, email address and, if you add it, your company or organization.
- The details of your project: what you want to build, who will use it, and any links or notes.
- For the questionnaire, your estimated budget and preferred timeline.
- How you'd like me to contact you, if you choose something other than email.
- The date and time you submitted the form.
How it's stored and who sees it
Submissions are saved in a database hosted by Supabase. The database is set up so visitors can send information in but can't read anyone's submissions back out. When something arrives, I'm also notified by email, which is sent through an email delivery service. Only I read your submission.
How long I keep it
I keep your inquiry for as long as I need it to respond and to remember what we discussed. If you'd like it deleted sooner, email me and I'll remove it.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
I do count visits and button presses with a small counter I run myself, to see whether the site is useful. Each event records the page, which button or link was pressed, the kind of device (phone, tablet or desktop), the website you came from (just its domain) and a random number that is forgotten when you close the tab. It doesn't store your IP address, your name or anything that could identify you, and it can't follow you from one visit to the next. It's switched off if your browser sends Do Not Track. These counts are deleted after about six months.
Your choices
You can ask me what I have about you, ask me to correct it or ask me to delete it at any time. Write to ctoledocarlo@gmail.com.
